At "Hire-A-Goat" we are committed in providing an environmentally friendly and cost effective means of fire prevention through the reduction of fuel loads. Southern California's ever drier climate and an increasing fuel loads, provide the perfect stage for Fire Storms. NEVER forget the San Diego Fire Storms '03 and '07, don't be left unprepared!!
Why Goats??
Let's face it.... they're just darn cute! Really, Goats are the perfect brush eating machines. They will eat most plant species and provide an environmentally friendly, "GREEN", alternative to herbicides, burning, hand and machine crews; which can damage the land and cause irreversible erosion issues. Additionally, Goats provide a natural process of brush clearing and/or thinning allowing the removal of evasive weed species allowing for natural vegetation restoration.
